YAY! Yesterday we received notice of our fingerprinting ("biometrics" for those in the know) appointment with the Department of Homeland Security! The appointment is scheduled for November 10, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. Sweet! We are hoping that it only takes 2-3 weeks after that to receive our immigration pre-approval. That will be our last piece of paper to obtain before finalizing the dossier to send to Poland!
We also sent off a couple documents to be apostilled already (the homestudy, birth certificates and marriage certificate). Dare we hope to have our dossier to Poland by the end of the year?! We are so happy to have progress.
I hope everyone is enjoying fall. I just LOVE this time of year. The crisp air is wonderful! Klaudia is doing great. She loves swimming lessons and she had a great visit with Grandma & Grandpa California and Uncle Night Night (Kevin) recently. She is talking a lot and has the biggest smile.

So exciting! Our fingerprint appointment was also at 11:00. We actually got there at 10:30 and they went ahead and let us in. We were out right at 11:00. Much faster than with our first adoption when it took a couple of hours. I hope your approval turn around time is pretty quick. I hope we both have our dossiers in by the end of the year. I just love adoption progress!
I am just so excited to be following your family again. I'm sure your Dossier will be in Poland by the end of the year. I can't wait to hear the stories about Klaudia meeting her little sibling!!!
Progress is always good!
Very exciting! I am so happy for you that you are coming back to Poland. What a nice Christmas present to get your Dossier in Poland...I hope it happens!
Isn't it completely amazing seeing the progress in our little ones after we bring them home? Michal is still behind his peers, but I can't help but feel grateful and so very proud of the progress that he has made.
You are making tremendous progress. It indeed sounds like you will be able to turn your dossier in by the end of the year. What a wonderful xmas present!
Way to go! It's exciting to live vicariously through you guys and reminence about the process.
